The program establishes and monitors consistent, trusting relationships that lead to a sense of belonging and increased self-esteem.

Happy 2007 Buddy's! We had a blast at the Adventure Ridge Christmas party and are moving into our new year with lots of energy and excitement. We have Jessica's amazing communications coming to us in the form of newsletters and other interesting tidbits as well as Tina's creativity with our after school programs. We are looking at 2007 to be a big year for us - matching more great kids with fabulous senior buddy's; fun filled monthly activities; tons of after school programs and lots of wonderful conversations and interactions with all our friends. SO - keep in touch with us - lots and always - let us know what you are up to, what we can help you with; if you know of friends wanting to get involved with our program; ideas for activities and/or pretty much any other thing - big or small in your life. What Does Our Program Offer You?

The Eagle County Buddies Program provides an opportunity for adults to express gratitude for what is good in their lives by sharing their time and talents with boys and girls who would benefit from a positive adult role model. The Buddies program is an invaluable resource to Eagle County. The program helps to develop long-lasting relationships for both youth and adults. The mentor will benefit from on-going training, whole-hearted support, and strategies for dealing with young people. Monthly activities are scheduled for all Senior Buddies and their Junior Buddies. These meetings include on-going support, camaraderie, and helpful conversation!
